HOW DO I FIT MY DECALS?

to prepare the surface, just make sure you have washed off any paint cleaning chemicals as these can react with decal glue,

you can use warm mild soapy water to clean surface, then dry thoroughly with paper towel before sticking them on.

THEY WON'T STICK?

there could be a few reasons,

the surface is damp, humid, dusty, dirty , greasy...

or it could be the surface itself, some surfaces like matt or satin are porous so the moisture gets underneath and they may not stick.

to get them to stick first time, make sure you have washed off any cleaning chemicals, dirt and grease then dried surface with paper towel,

if the room or surface you are sticking them to is slightly damp, humid or cold, then the water droplets in the air will get between the surface and the decal,

try warming the surface first with an air dryer, you will find they stick better,

CAN THEY FALL OFF?

No, Once they have been correctly fitted they should stick forever,

CAN YOU CLEAR COAT / LACQUER OVER THEM?

Yes, clean off any paint cleaning chemicals with warm mild soapy water, dry area with paper towel before sticking them on, then they can be clear coated over no problem.

CAN THEY BE REMOVED EASY?

this depends if you have clear coated over them...

1, CLEARCOTED OVER; NO, they would need to be removed professionally.

2, NOT CLEARCOATED OVER, THEN YES,  just warm them up with an hair dryer, this will soften the glue and they will peel off easy,

ARE THE RIM TAPES ON A ROLL?

No, our rim tapes are professionally cut into quarter circles, 4 quarters pieces per wheel side,  this is so they fit your rim better,

the stuff on a roll doesn't bend around the rim very easily, so they look a little flat sided, not very cool looking!

YOU HAVE SENT ME 2 OF THE SAME SIDE DECALS, I WANTED DIFFERENT ONES FOR BOTH SIDES?

Dont worry, most decals are the same for both sides, its just an optical illusion, just stick the decals on that we send you and you will see,

only a few decals need to be opposite cut, ie HORSE DECALS, FLAMES etc, but You will receive opposite cut decals for both sides if required,,,

WILL THEY FADE?

No, our decals are not printed decals, they are cut out of real uv stable vinyl,

ARE YOUR DECALS PRINTED?

No, our decals are not printed,  printed decals tend to fade in direct sunlight or some chemicals can simply fetch the colour off!.

DO THEY HAVE A BACKGROUND COLOUR OR CLEAR BACKGROUND?

No, all our decals are just solid letters cut out of real vinyl, what you see in black in the items picture is what you will get,

you can stick them on as they are, they are glossy anyway, or you can clear coat over them if preferred.

MY RIM TAPES DONT LOOK LIKE THEY WILL FIT MY WHEELS IF I HOLD THEM UP TO THE RIM?

Our rim tapes are made out of real vinyl which is very pliable, so they will bend to fit around you rims, even if you have a 16" wheel and a 18" wheel, if you have ordered that set, then they will bent to fit,

WHAT IF I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT SIZE WHEELS AND THEY WONT MATCH YOUR SIZES FOR ONE SET, DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE 2 SETS?

No, just purchase 1 set, then if our sizes dont match your wheel sizes, then let us know in the shopping basket comments box your wheel sizes, we will mix the set for you at no extra cost,

ARE YOUR DECALS WATERPROOF?

Yes, our vinyl is 5 to 7 year long lasting, outdoor uv stable and waterproof...

Postage and packaging or shipping is only one price of 99p uk delivery or £2.99  anywhere else in the world.

we send them  royal mail first class, they normally deliver next day in the uk, but the rest of the world delivery is around 3 to 5 working days, this depends on any customs intervention...
